Perkebunan Sawit Tanpa Izin Marak

Pelanggaran di Kalimantan Tengah Paling Luas

Perkebunan kelapa sawit yang terindikasi melanggar peraturan, yaitu beroperasi tanpa memiliki surat izin pelepasan kawasan dari Menteri Kehutanan, marak dan meliputi luas sekitar 2.000.000 hektar di Kalimantan Barat dan Kalimantan Tengah.

Karena itu, Kementerian Kehutanan akan membawa kasus tersebut ke jalur hukum.

Kepala Bidang Perlindungan Hutan dan Konservasi Alam Kalimantan Barat (Kalbar) Soenarno, Sabtu (20/1), menegaskan, Kementerian Kehutanan memastikan akan membawa kasus pelanggaran tersebut ke jalur hukum.

Sementara Menteri Kehutanan Zulkifli Hasan, Sabtu di Pontianak, mengakui, di Indonesia jutaan hektar perkebunan dan pertambangan beroperasi tanpa izin pelepasan kawasan atau izin pinjam pakai.

”Dari laporan yang sudah masuk, perkebunan yang beroperasi tanpa izin lahannya memang mencapai jutaan hektar. Saya tidak ingat persis angkanya,” tutur Zulkifli Hasan kepada wartawan di ruang VIP Bandara
Supadio.

Menurut Menhut, laporan mengenai banyaknya lahan perkebunan yang beroperasi tanpa izin itu masuk ke Tim Terpadu Penanganan Pelanggaran Kehutanan yang dibentuk pada Januari 2010. Tim terpadu tersebut, antara lain, terdiri atas Kementerian Kehutanan, Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), Kejaksaan Agung, dan Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Polri).

Kalteng paling luas

Soenarno menjelaskan, sekitar 1,5 juta hektar berada di Kalimantan Tengah (Kalteng) dan 332.000 hektar berada di Kalbar. Sekitar 300.000 hektar dari 332.000 hektar yang ada di Kabupaten Ketapang, Kalbar, dipastikan tidak berizin.

”Di Kabupaten Bengkayang dan Sanggau (keduanya di Kalbar) yang melanggar 28.000 hektar dan sekitar 4.000 hektar,” ujar Soenarno.

Menyangkut pelanggaran di Kalteng, Direktur Eksekutif Save Our Borneo Nordin membenarkan bahwa pelanggaran atas lahan 1,5 juta hektar tersebut dilakukan oleh sedikitnya 77 perusahaan dari 144 perusahaan perkebunan di Kalteng.

Dari Medan, Sumatera Utara, diperoleh informasi bahwa harga minyak sawit mentah (crude palm oil/CPO) cenderung naik, baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh jumlah panen CPO yang menurun serta musim dingin di Eropa yang datang lebih awal daripada tahun sebelumnya sehingga panen kedelai dan biji matahari berkurang.

Ketua Gabungan Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (Gapki) Cabang Sumatera Utara Balaman Tarigan mengatakan, pada akhir tahun 2009 harga CPO Rp 6,2 juta per ton dan pada akhir Februari 2010 melonjak menjadi Rp 7,6 juta per ton.

”Kami optimistis harga CPO akan terus naik dan tembus Rp 10 juta per ton,” kata Tarigan seusai acara Musyawarah Cabang II Gapki Cabang Sumut di Medan, Sabtu. (AHA/FUL/MHF)

October 23rd, 2009, the next day, October 24th, in conjunction with the 'United Nations Day' and 'The International Day of Climate Action', 'The Climate Project Indonesia' will continue the campaign to a larger audience through organizing an event called "350. Berani?!" or "350. Dare?!" in 2 locations. "Teater Utan Kayu" and "Darmawangsa Square" This event is a cooperation between The Climate Project Indonesia, '89,2 FM Green Radio' and 'Life Begins @ 40'.

Why 350? 350 refers to 350 ppm, the save level of atmospheric CO2 concentration. In September 2009, the atmospheric CO2 concentration has reached 384.78 ppm.

It is written in a piece of fabric using Batik wax. The participants will sign the declaration with wax using 'canting' (the tool to make Batik). The signed declaration will then be processed to become a piece of Batik. We will send this piece of Batik to Al Gore who will bring it to COP 15 in Copenhagen.
